Testing out a few ways. instead of drawing everything by hand,  i as going to model and animate stuff in 3d,  and then we would have the most options.  we could keep the 3d data,  or we could render sprites or we can look into the whole voxel thing which i think may be absolutely awesome if we can pull it off.  I was also thinking that each frame of voxel data can also contain limb data,  so pieces can be shot off and it would carry over to each frame of animation. also there is the idea of internal organs and bones that could separate

Mainly just getting my head around this editor,  and getting a mesh that converts well.  may look around to see if theres anything else out there that maybe does volume voxeling,  so i can add internal organs and bones to the 3d mesh and we wouldnt have to combine the data later. Also there will be clothes.  i`m thinking of doing a cloth and a simple hair sim on the animated model.  this would allow for some nice secondary animation as it moves and also tag clothing/hair voxels that can be burned off maybe.  Oh yea,  and importing texture and colour info would be very useful too  Smile
